Istotna Martynka is a Polish YouTuber from Istota Wrestlingu podcast, PpW's Director of Staff, a trainee of Ewenement Dojo and the wife of Istociarz. She makes occasional in-ring appearances as a wrestler and a referee.

Professional wrestling career

In 2023, Martyna and her husband Istociarz started a YouTube channel called Istota Wrestlingu (roughly The Essence of Wrestling) where they talked about the recent shows by various Polish promotions. As the channel grew, they started inviting wrestlers and other personalities from the Polish wrestling scene for interviews. At the same time they moved away from the pre-recorded format in favour of live streams, at which point they started wearing their trademark cat-like lucha libre masks.

PpW Ewenement Wrestling (2024-present)

Istotna Martynka joined Ewenement Dojo at some point in 2024. She made her first - albeit unofficial - appearance in the ring at Piwo Przyjacielem Wrestlingu 2. On the first day of the show she accompanied other wrestlers as Siostra Kimono (Sister Kimono), and on the third day she fought in three matches - first winning the PTW Intergender Championship from Marco Hammers, then losing it back to him, and finally taking part in a Royal Rumble.

Besides that, Martynka also hold a position of PpW's Director of Staff, managing all of the staff workers during PpW events.

On February 14th, 2026, it was announced that Istotna Martynka would make a one-off referee appearance during PpW's Japanese excursion in March (as Referee Martyna). This turned out to be a two-off, however, as another date was later added.

At Teraz Albo nigdy 2, Martynka made her first in-ring appearance in PpW's main programming, joining the 25 Typa 25 Broni Rumble Match, in a losing effort.

On April 27th, a women's match for Ewenement Dojo Showcase was announced. Martynka, now with an added "Szeku" nickname (after the manufacturer of her outfit), would make her singles debut against Agentka Agatka. This marked the first women's match between two Polish performers in over six years - the last one being Bianca vs Diana Rega at KPW Arena 16.
