The Freebird Rule usage in Polish wrestling

The Freebird Rule - named after the American tag team the Fabulous Freebirds - is an angle where three or more members of a team or stable are considered equal Champions, even if they didn't personally contribute to winning a tag team title. This "rule" is also in effect on the Polish scene.

PAKA

PAKA were the first to win the PTW Tag Team Championship. At PTW #4: The Mystery the tag team of Taras and Disco Pablo scored a victory and then defended their titles on two more occasions. Although he never found himself competing for the belt himself, Boro was also considered a full Champion.

Kombat Pro Wrestling

Team Visegrad

David Oliwa and Ricky Sky, forming Team Visegrad, won the KPW Tag Team Championships at Godzina Zero 2025. Lukáš Mottl, the third member of the team, defended the title at Arena 31 (in two matches, back-to-back) and at Godzina Zero 2026. The latter event also saw the addition of Johan Otto, replacing Oliwa who was unable to compete due to an injury.

PpW Ewenement Wrestling

Zmowa

The heel stable Zmowa, represented by Mister Z and Jakub, became the inaugural PpW Tag Team Champions at Dwa Na Dwa. In the title matches to follow, the gold was defended by Marco Hammers & Mister Z, and Marco & Jakub. Similarly to Boro, Olgierd was also recognised as a Champion, although he never got to defend the title.

Rodzina

The stable consists of five people - Vic Golden, Oskar Alexander, Filip Fux, Robert Star and Isnorr - all of whom are recognised as Champions. However, since winning the titles at Nü Wrestling, Vic and Oskar have been the only ones to defend them (as of September 2026).

Maniac Zone Wrestling

The Freebird Rule was never put in effect throughout the 2.5 years the MZW Tag Team Championship was active.
